Fabio Quartararo
Fabio Quartararo is a proven star in the world of motorcycle racing. Born in Nice, France, in 1999, he began his racing career in the French Superbike Championship in 2013. He quickly caught the attention of MotoGP scouts and was signed to the Yamaha VR46 Academy in 2015.
After a successful stint in Moto3 and Moto2, Quartararo was signed by the Petronas Yamaha SRT team to compete in MotoGP in 2019. In his rookie season, he quickly made a name for himself, securing six pole positions and seven podium finishes, including two second-place finishes. He finished the season in fifth place overall and was named Rookie of the Year.
In 2020, Quartararo made the jump to the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing team, replacing Valentino Rossi as the team's lead rider. He had a strong start to the season, winning two of the first four races. However, he struggled with consistency in the middle of the season, finishing outside the top five in four consecutive races. He bounced back towards the end of the season, winning the final race of the year and finishing in fifth place overall.

His consistent performances and impressive race wins made him a deserving champion and cemented his status as one of the top riders in MotoGP. Quartararo secured the championship with a second-place finish at the Grand Prix of Valencia, becoming the first French rider to win the premier class since 1999.
